Say Discord split himself in two parts befor ehe was sealed and while the greater portion of himself and his power was locked away in stone, the small portion escaped and was able to manifest itself in physical form.

You play as this manifestation. It can shape shift between any and all kinds of pony (as well as turn into a miniature draconequis) and has a nerfed set of Discord Powers (able to influence but not fully brainwash others, limited control over small areas of reality ,etc.)

There would be three goals to this quest.

1. Neutralizing the Elements of Harmony
2. Breaking the seal that binds most of your power and true form
3. Overthrowing the Alicorn sisters and re-establishing your total rule over Equestria.

This is only a bare bones idea right now, I wanted to run it by you folks.

As general advice for a first quest, I'd recommend a short and simple one, like go get a bottle of orange juice, and then just throw situations at us. If you want to go deeper, but still retain some control, offer the audience predetermined choices and some explanation. If all you give is people the option to go in one of the cardinal direction, they'll pick STRIKE THE EARTH most of the time.
