12/08/11(Thu)05:11 No.32118223[1/2] Holy shit, I apparently wrote a lot.
>>32118047 >>32118062 I enjoyed it, it went pretty well. I think the player count dropped off quite a bit a few times, and there were probably only 3 or 4 regulars, but there were always enough people to have a couple of suggestions, and everone seemed to have been following the quest so there weren't any completely retarded suggestions that came from ignorance.
The setting was pretty good, and the idea of the verses was pretty interesting, but I didn't feel that it really expanded beyond what we saw. It probably comes from being started as a quick quest, but there isn't really anything that I am curious about in regards to the world. Everything we saw ended up getting used, which isn't really a bad thing, but shows that most of this, including the setting was come up with as we went along. It works, but usually wont be as interesting as something that has been planned in advance. Look at Rubyquest, even when it ended, people were clamoring about things that they still didn't know, and a couple of the quests run here have been similar. This was fun, and well run, but could have been better with more preparation. The same can usually be said for anything though, so don't take it as insulting. |
