Let's once and for all work this misnomer out of existence: even though JohnJoseco is of quality, his works are still rough, unfinished and at this point it's no longer a shield to hide against. You see, most artists try to reach certain magnitude with their drawings, be it in colour or not, Johny on the other hand tries to reach a minimum and calls it a day. This coupled with his inability to draw figures and from odd angles shows that, even though he has potential, is rusted in his current flow.
To get into a bit more detail, JohnJoseco's drawings lack what artists call 'spiritual freedom': they are stiff and lack a lifelike freedom of motion - see impressionism and suprematism.

Credit where it is due, however, as his colour usage is quite good. Not fantastic, but certainly good.

"You look like a bee. Stop being so erratic and just relax a little. Don't try so hard and it'll come to you." Spitfire began to fly in slow, lazy circles around the safety cloud Scootaloo was buzzing on.

The little filly took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Slowing down her wings went against her every instinct, but she did as she was told. To her surprise, she began to get a little bit more control over her flight. She was still working a lot harder than Spitfire because her wings were so much smaller, but she could keep up with the cloud circling.

"Good job Scoots, knew you had it in you." Spitfire said, landing back on the cloud. Scootaloo floated down to her for a hug.

I've gone to two conventions.
Blizzcon the second year. Was fine and a lot of fun and had some cool events.
Anime Expo: I was so uncomfortable the entire time. I had very little fun, and the whole thing made me not want to be a fan. Everything there made me feel dirty.

I will never go to any of the MLP:FiM meet ups. Especially from what I'm seeing. It would be AX, but ten times worse. I would just want to hide in a corner if forced to go to one.

Big Macintosh knocked on Fluttershy's cottage door with a boquet of flowers in his mouth. In a few moments, Fluttershy was at the door. She looked magnificent, as always.

"Mffs mff frr mrf" Big Macintosh forgot he had flowers in his mouth. He set them down in front of Fluttershy, who giggled cutely and picked up the flowers. She took them inside and placed them in a vase, which she filled with water.

"Thank you, they're...nice" she said as she approached Big Mac again. She stepped outside and closed the door behind her. They were going to have a simple dinner picnic near the outskirts of the forrest. Fluttershy had taken care to set everything up just before Big Mac had arrived. She started walking and he followed.

As they were both shy ponies, there wasn't much talking on the way there. Neither of them really minded too much, the company of a like-minded pony was nice. In a matter of minutes, they had arrived. A red and white checkered blanket was laid out with a wicker basket on top of it. Big Macintosh and Fluttershy sat down on either side of the basket and began taking food out.

The meal was mostly silent, with the two ponies exchanging a mere hooffull of words. There wasn't a real need for dialogue between the two of them. They just kind of clicked when they were together. They finished their meal, dragging it on for quite some time, and Big Macintosh picked up the blanket and basket. Fluttershy smiled and thanked him for offering to carry the stuff back and they walked once more.

The walk back was equally silent (Big Mac had a mouthful of basket after all) and it seemed like the date ended too soon for the two ponies. They stood just outside of Fluttershy's cottage for a short while, neither pony speaking. In an act of daring bravery, Big Macintosh thanked Fluttershy for the date and leaned down to give her a gentle kiss. They parted ways, two hearts sent all aflutter by the kiss.
