"I don't need cheering up Pinkie, I just really need to study and I can't do it with you make so much noise!" she hadn't intended to snap quite so harshly, but Twilight was under a lot of stress recently, she couldn't afford silly little distractions.

"Gee Twilight, I didn't mean to upset you" Pinkie said quietly, sitting down and frowning. "You've just been cooped up in here for days, I thought you might like some company or something." Pinkie Pie's ears and shoulders drooped and Twilight felt a pang in her heart. She hated to see such her friend get so upset.

Twilight walked up to Pinkie and lifted her head up with her nose. "I'm sorry Pinkie, I didn't mean to snap at you. I...sorry." Twilight's chest felt tight.

"It's okay Twilight," she heard Pinkie say in her ear. Pinkie Pie put her hooves around Twilight's neck and pulled her into a big hug, warming them both up a little on the cold winter night. They both felt a feeling in their hearts at that moment, but they were too scared to say anything to the other pony. They chose to sit in each others arms in silence.

Applejack on the other hand only needed to land one solid kick to knock that pony out of the air, and soon enough she landed that exact hit. With a crunch, the blue pegasus was knocked into the table and landed in a heap on the other side. Applejack approached her body and lifted a hoof over her head.
