I was sure that Rarity was going to be the standard fashionist character but then Episode 2 came along.

Basically one of, if not the most well known Starcraft tournament commentator. Hes one of the few in the business thats also a decent player himself, which is part of what makes him good.

I can't say much about it since the freshmen load is to get a drawing foundation. Next semester is when we can take actual animation classes.

But what I've heard from upper classmen, they say it's a lot of hard work, but the product is always sweet because of that dedication.

And they're not kidding. Even in my drawing classes the major expects a lot out of you. To animate, you have to be a good artist and know about tonal shapes, figure drawings, and perspective.

And man, perspective is brutal. It's a lot of mechaincal processes you have to remember and trial and error.

engineering is more a learned thing anyway, just get a job as an assistant engineer at some bar somewhere and thatll do for education.

not necessarily. Classical composition is quite mathematical, the main issue comes when you have to have an inside out knowledge of theory. Like Steve Reich composes with dudes over the phone. They dont even have to play an instrument, they just say 'oh how about X going in bar 14 in the cello' or something, and he'll know exactly what itll be like. Course, hes also a genius.
