11/29/11(Tue)00:32 No.31837823Oh wow, Boco and the Inspector what a treat.
>>31837418 To address your question on what little fuel I have left today, it's honestly different strokes for different folks. For me it's cute, funny, has a variety of likable (in my opinion of course.) characters with intereting triats and personalities. As the show goes on, we learn more things about them and how they interact with each other. Most of this is played for laughs and I feel the comedy is what really attracts me the most. Not always laugh out loud super hilarious stuff, but lots of little moments and things that characters do and say to each other that makes them all the more entertaining. It's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously and also has some interesting lore and a surprising amount of continuity for an episodic kids show. Little things hidden here and there, attention to detail with certain set pieces and things. Though it is obviously not without it's faults, and the type of humor/way it presents itself may not appeal to everyone. Heck, people in these threads often argue about the quality of certain episodes and moments because we apparently haven't grasped the full concept of having different opinions yet. But we try, and we discuss the things we did and didn't like and express our feelings about it here. Threads are often getting silly and off topic due to the general nature, but some pretty neat things have come out of it, and I still quite enjoy talking about it with these folks so I'm staying here for now.
Anyway, my two cents. Thanks for reading; if I didn't type this too slow that is. |
