But the moral of THAT episode wasn't humility, it was about NOT being ashamed or afraid of your own talents.

You know, one thing to potentially remember is that almost any time an episode centers on one character, they take an inexplicable level in jerkass, stubborn, stupid, all three, or in fluttershy's case, lose levels in courage.

Applejack refuses to accept simple help from other friends in Applebuck Season.

Rarity loses sight of helping Dash in Sonic Rainboom and, well, pulls a Rainbow Dash.

Twilight becomes insanely neurotic in Lesson Zero. And I mean INSANE.

Spike loses all of his maturity in Owl's Well That Ends Well and probably will in Secret of My Excess.

Fluttershy loses courage and bladder control in Dragonshy.

Though in the end, I suppose out of everyone else, Dash tends to take her pride issues to a far greater extreme during her episodes than any others.

What none of the four ponies understood when they donned that costume was that the identity of the Mare Do Well would slowly consume their minds.

Then. they begin referring to themselves as Mare Do Well in their minds, and sometimes when speaking, Rarity and Rainbow Dash start to become concerned.

Then, Twilight, Fluttershy, AJ, and Pinkie start having blackouts and waking up in-costume. They don't remember when or what happened, but people comment about it. And they hear 'the voice of the Mare Do Well' in their minds.

But in the end, so Ponyville has some saviors, so what? Well it starts to go wrong because there can'ts be FOUR Mare Do Well, can there? Each respective Mare Do Well begins to see the others as 'imposters' that must be dealt with.

I liked TP when it first came out, but replaying it I found the dungeons to be very tedious. There was just too much set up in between as well to try to make it seem EPIC.

Combined that with the fact that item use was pretty freaking restricted in the over world and it just wasn't as good a Zelda as it could have been. I blame the transfer to the Wii mostly.
