I think Too Much Knowledge is a pretty important moral, though obviously we'll never experience it on that scale. Knowledge of how to do something isn't enough, you need the wisdom to use it properly. Teach a child to use a gun without them understanding the concequences, and they're dangerous. Right off the bat the present tense through me for a loop, and the additional first person was an extra knock against it. Both of these are fine perspective devices for storytelling if utilized properly, but they're inherently disarming, so make sure there's a reason for both when writing a story.

Some awkward subject references in your sentences here, make sure that your grammar is consistent and you're not confusing the focus of your description. There are also some unnecessary word choices - putting things simply is often the best way of communicating them.

Sentence pacing is also weird, getting some run ons and extraneous commas - slow yourself down a little bit, and be careful with your narrative reference.

oh god the verb tenses are really jarringly weird in this perspective. there's just a lot of inelegant phrasing that i'm seeing, only into the second chapter;

Pinkie's characterization feels iffy to me, though I'm a notorious stickler for that... just in particular the notion of her reading a prepared confession of affection is cute, but not really in character- she'd be much more likely to just blurt out her feelings nonchalantly. I can't give much more detailed critique on this before it gets revised - I'm sorry my feedback was basically 'FIX IT', but it needs proof-reading and editing so badly the story is undigestable. In regards to the specific theme of the storytelling, the premise is workable - a cute date with pinkie pie is as good as anything else, but you just need to find a method of execution. It's at a weird seperation between affection and lust - if you're in service of your potential readers, lean towards the latter, with more evocative description and more focus on animalistic nature... if you're looking for more moving storytelling or 'whyfeelings/boners' then focus on the former, but be warned that you'll get less encouraging feedback initially... people prefer feeling horny to feeling... feelings.

Anyway. Sorry I wasn't able to say much positive about this draft. You have a decent grasp on the workings of narrative structure and the use of language, but the particulars here are just all over the place - give it a good couple revisions, specifically in regards to the tense and perspective issues, as well as description and story focus, and it has potential to be a promising story - though it also needs a bit of elaboration at this point as well.

I can see this, but I want to offer a potential alternative.

From our view with her and Twilight, she twice wanted an informer visit to her personal student, and both times had the townsfolk turn it into a strenuous affair, speaking only formally to her. She was also bored out of her mind at the Gala.

I think it's very likely that Celestia wants and even actively tries to cultivate personal friends among the ponies, but her status, stature, persona, and age end up with OTHERS foisting the distance between them, treating her only as the immortal princess and nothing else.

She seems to have gotten use to it, occasionally trying to lighten the mood ("shhp"), but otherwise letting the ponies do what they want.

I think Celestia craves a pony that can connect with her on a level other than ruler of the free pony world. In fact, I think Luna returning probably was a great help for her, finally an equal.
