They just wanted to make something that was entertaining to whomever was willing enough to watch, and season two has been, to me, far more entertaining that season one.Season one had its moments, but compared to what these past few episodes have been it seems so much more pedestrian, and in some cases bland. In retrospect, it's evident that the crew were approaching the show cautiously, because they weren't aware of how well the result would be. Now that the crew is more familiar with the core concepts of the show and how it should be written, they can capitalize on that knowledge and expand upon it.
