This was clearly the worst ever episode in MLP
The plot was a cliche, all the best ponies weren't featured, the voice acting was sub-par and the animation was just a spam of forced reaction faces. Never watching ponies again. This cartoon is now dead to me. It's like they're just cashing in on the sudden rise of popularity. Take the scene where they learned the lesson of friendship for example, the "lesson" was just a shitty copout. If you still think this franchise can live, you are just one of those detached from reality "bronies" that have abandoned all reason to their adoration of this load of goat feces.

This episode was really wonderful in a way totally unlike the last several episodes. The last 4 in a row have been just in-your-face over-the-top incredible, but this is a nice, sweet, grounded little story -- something this show definitely needs every once in awhile, and was done very well today. The whole sisterly love thing was adorable, and it showed some great character depth to Rarity in particular, but also gave the other most-underloved main pony, Applejack, a lot of good ground, as well. And I personally love the CMC and find them adorable, I only wish we'd have seen Scoots' sister or sister-figure at least, but I'm still cool with it. Very satisfying episode.
