She died in the night, passing peacefully into a slumber. Spike had stayed in the library, continuing his duties as if nothing had changed. Waiting there is everyone Spike's lost, all the ponies and his own family members. And Twilight. He's back to the size he was when they first went to Ponyville. He hugs her so tightly, then turns back to the two Alicorns and tells them that he hopes they'll meet again.

But there's no rush.
