What aspects of the fandom do you want the show to adopt as show canon? What parts of the fandom do you want ignored by the creators?

Personally I think it would be neat if they referred to Lyra and Bon Bon by those names in the show. I also want them to reinforce Derpy's muffin fixation somehow. Show her eating a plate of them or something in the background.

I think if they do make any references to fanon at all it should be very subtle. I think what they did with Derpy is cute, but her name should be Ditzy-Doo. They can refer to her as Derpy as a nickname though, that would be alright. Having her be full retard is something I wouldn't want to see either, Derpy is a silly pony, not a retard. Seeing her deliver mail would be alright too, but I don't care either way on that one. We already saw her moving furniture, so she could be doing deliveries in a sense that way. Come on, Spike dies ages after everything that happens in the series. After he's grown too large to be of much use around Equestria outside of heavy lifting and scaring off any monsters that might be lurking too close to the eedge of Everfree.

When his time comes, Celestia and Luna are both there, along with any of the Mane 6's family (or his own) that remember him after all this time. They all talk for a while, then the Princessess ask him to go on one last flight with them.

They do, and as they come back in to land, Spike feels himself getting smaller and lighter. Then they touch down next to a very dragon-shaped hill. Waiting there is everyone Spike's lost, all the ponies and his own family members. And Twilight. He's back to the size he was when they first went to Ponyville. He hugs her so tightly, then turns back to the two Alicorns and tells them that he hopes they'll meet again.

But there's no rush.
