>>30980156 i think you took my silly comment a little too seriously. you certainly read as though you're not too fond of book learning. i agree on most counts, and i'm not going to tell you theoretical knowledge is as broad, versatile or strong as practical, but certainly one thing you can learn from books is how to draw. people do it all the time. i'm not going to question stylistic decisions (like, say, rendering individual hairs) because that's the artist's prerogative, and books are very often wrong, but still, don't write them off, man. in this case there's definite useful application. |
