>>30970647 A Dog and Pony Show: Appears to do this by copying Rarity's gem-finding spell to navigate the tunnels, but is completely pointless in the end, since Rarity's day did not need saving. Green Isn't Your Color: Attempts this, accomplishes exactly nothing other than a cheap gag. Over a Barrel: No. A Bird in the Hoof: No. The Cutie Mark Chronicles: Yes, in her flashback, and only because of Rainbow Dash. Plus she exploded and became the new problem, so. Owl's Well That Ends Well: This episode was so bland I can barely remember it, but I'm pretty sure no. Party of One: No. The Best Night Ever: No. The Return of Harmony Part 1: Attempts to do this, fails egregiously. The Return of Harmony Part 2: YES. This is the only legitimate example of Twilight saving the day with a new spell I can find. Lesson Zero: Attempts to do this, and ends up nearly killing half the town (the half at the bottom of the pile). Luna Eclipsed: No.
So, while Twilight's magic is often the centerpiece of an episode, it doesn't usually accomplish much, for some reason.
(nothing personal against you, guy, but I wanted to write this.)
