Well, as a anon-artist of reasonable quality (I.E I'm not Griffy fic's drawing tier), I've noticed there are generally two main styles of drawing that I'd recomend practicing with - as shown here. As you can see, there's two main styles - Lined, and Block colour.
Lined style helps to make everything stand out more, with all the work that entails, which usually means more complex shading to make a appearence of depth and your generally expected to make it a show acurate as you can.
Block colours, meanwhile, favours simplicity and expressive stuff - so long as you put some kinda line to tell the joints apart you should be okay, but it is easy to make the piece medicore from a few mistakes.
Basically just pick the one that you like the most/better at and continue to doodle up storms of stuff you probably won't save. |
