Thoughts on last episode?

I liked it. MA Larson is a solid writer, and he gets Twilight. Last episode had Psycho-Twilight. It felt so manic, and crazy. Like it was a Johnny Test episode or a John K. show.

Twilight was dorky, but loveable. Luna was nice. I didn't like the revelation that Pinkie liked to be scared. It defused the situation too quickly. Could have done more with getting them to like Luna and to get over their fears.

Everything is coming along great... until the part to decide what kind of small pretty details should the dress have. Rarity suggests that diamonds would look simply divine on the dress, but Derpy insists that she wants mini-muffins on it. They argue about it for a few minutes, until Derpy comes up with a great idea: "What if we cook mini-muffins with tiny pieces off diamonds on them?". Rarity first found the idea extremely silly, but then decided to go with it.

And so, Rarity and Derpy made the most beautiful, tasty-looking dress ever. ...Until fucking Spike ate the mini-muffins and made it look like a simple casual dress, the prick.

Ok Ok, a Pony that is SOMEWHAT like the punisher comes to ponyville. Through some crazy plot junk he ends up saving Scootaloo's life from some environmental hazard. Scootaloo comes to idolize him and eventually he agrees to take her on as his sidekick.

To disguise her identity she wears lots of clothing and he paints a cutie mark of his hero symbol on her flank. Eventually Scootaloo finds out that her mentor is not above taking extreme measures to deliver justice (like killing ponies or not helping other ponies in need). Scootaloo eventually confronts him about it and he tells her that she can either deal with it or quit. Scootaloo chooses to leave the life of a hero but finds herself drawn to continue her work saving ponies in need.

Eventually they cross paths again when her mentor is about to kill a pony he has deemed guilty. Their argument turns into an all out brawl and scootaloo comes out as the victor after a climactic battle. Later on she attempts to wash away the paint on her flank and then realizes that what was just a disguise has now actually become her cutie mark.

In a way, yeah, actually... since you guys were quick about rinsing most of the spores off when you first stepped in it, only a tiny bit ended up remaining with you.
