>>30807653 Ditzy Doo felt a twinge in her belly. She smiled. Whoever was in there was kicking again. She couldn't wait to meet her. Or him. Or it.
The team finished boxing up the contents of the cloud house. Ditzy looked at the directions (and the van). They were going to the outskirts of Cloudsdale today. Ditzy loved Cloudsdale, as did most pegasi; it was the most three-dimensional city in Equestria, with doors on roofs and doors on second stories, and doors on the undersides of houses. It would be fun to see it again.
Of course, when Ditzy delivered new books and old books to the Ponyville Library, she always used the upstairs landing. The librarian didn't mind; he was an older pony, a storyteller with a knack for voices. She loved to sit and listen to him read.
Suddenly, there was a different twinge, and Ditzy knew it was time. She told Mr. Bole and Raindrops. He excused them both, and wished her well.
Ditzy pulled some of the bubble wrap around her belly. The twinge came again. Raindrops taped the bubble wrap, then led her toward the doctor's office. On the way, the twinges made her land. Raindrops flew ahead while Ditzy walked the rest of the way.

Ditzy looked at her new foal (and the doctor). The child was already standing, as she should be. She was a unicorn, just like her father. The horn had been poking her, but pegasi had thinner bellies, the doctor said, which is why they had to pull her out the hard way. Ditzy didn't mind; the dinky little foal was perfect in every way.
Raindrops smiled. "What are you thinking about?"
"I'm going to bubble wrap her and never let her go," said Ditzy. |
