!!cJ4MGVqvOKw 10/21/11(Fri)18:40 No.30771480>>30771284 There may be mess to it, but ultimately the job is done - we've only ever seen her bake as part of a group, after all. Whether with Applejack or Applebloom, as I recall, so there's not much room to judge. She seems fairly reputable as a baker, enough that the Cakes keep her on; it's not too much of a stretch to assume that, judging by the things we've seen her with on the show, she's an accomplished cook, even if it's impossible for us to see the method in her madness. Many of the most capable, genius minds of the past have been completely incomprehensible in both organisation and presentation - Pinkie may well fit into that role. Certainly she displays a vast wealth of knowledge both in her ability to deal with parasprites and her impromptu creation of a flying machine, though she is admittedly crazy in many respects. Whether this serves the extradiegetic purpose of japery or has real intradiegetic merit is debatable, but point is, she's certainly more than she seems.
Office work is about organisation with people, but simply because you are disorganised doesn't mean others can't be - secretaries often fulfill those roles for their employers, who cannot. They may well be confused by the system as Pinkie puts it across, but there will be someone who understands and can interpret Pinkie - and that's what counts, especially in a position of high office. There's some real historical examples you can cite and all. |
