Two hours later, you're all gathered in the palace's dining hall. You're having coffee, and you still can't believe it's over. You look to Celestia, and ask what makes her think he won't just continue to attack from that world? "Because that world is specially enchanted to contain anything that comes in indefinitely. He will never escape, nor will any of his magic." You look down, wondering what's going to happen next. "Is this it, then?" you ask. "Do I just go home and... just forget this all happened?"
She looks at you, puzzled. "Why would you say that?" she asks. "I never said that necklace was one-time-only. Any time you feel the need to visit us, you will always be welcome here." This makes you feel a bit better, but it's still so much. Your life has just taken on such a dramatic change in the past week. At least, from here on out, it's fina---
"CELESTIAAAAAAAAA," you hear, an almost deafening roar all around you. You look to the others, and notice that they have heard it too. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TEST ME, BOY. I THINK I KNOW JUST HOW TO SHOW YOU THAT I MEAN BUSINESS."
You suddenly feel as though your world is shaking. It's not like an earthquake, more like very intense vertigo. You look to the others, and they - even Celestia - seem to be feeling it as well. They begin to pass out, one by one, and you soon follow.
You come to, hours later... in your living room. The big difference being, you never had a group of six ponies and one alicorn in your living room before you left. You slowly stand up, and make your way to the front window on unsteady feet, before you notice... everyone is gone. Cars are left abandoned in the middle of the street, miscellaneous items are left on the sidewalk, and there are confused ponies everywhere.
This is bad.
This is very, very bad. |
