I...I feel like there's so much more I should have parodied, so much I missed out on by not actually reading the fanfiction.
What have I done? What golden opportunity have I wasted in my arrogant laziness? How best do I redeem myself? I have to read. I have to read these masterpieces and finally understand exactly what it is that makes Griffy such a compelling and lovable character.

That makes sense, depending on how you interpret her character. I've always held to the idea that Dash would be the sort to treasure any advantage, especially that of wings, in a relationship - if she has the control of transport, she has the power. She can run away, she can remain out of reach, she can quite easily manipulate in a way that someone confined to slow ground travel can't - so in that case, if she ever wanted to just take a nap, were she in a relationship with someone who could find her, on the one hand, that might be novel for the first few times, but eventually, unless there was a real strong bond there, she'd tire of not having complete superiority and control. But, again, it's all on the issue of fanon, so, eh, speculation galore.
On the issue of Big Mac, I don't know, man, extrapolation there is fine when you consider it fanon but if you start extrapolating and expounding on something, and then claiming it's canon because it seems fitting, you're crossing a very thin, blurry line. I prefer to just judge him based on what little we have, rather than making any personal judgments on what we've seen so far. |
