!!cJ4MGVqvOKw 10/08/11(Sat)19:29 No.30390396>>30389453 "Oh, no, Angel, please sit still! You can't go back outside and play, not now!"
With a pronounced harrumph, and a look of mock anger (perhaps mixed with a little bit of real anger too), the tiny white bunny fell back down onto his little bed, pulling the covers up to his brow and burying himself in the pillows as he turned away from the yellow pegasus hovering anxiously overhead.
Fluttershy had caught the first traces of sickness in the bunny's demeanour when he'd begun violently heaving at the offering of his usual first daily carrot; things had only gotten worse as he'd refused to drink anything, almost thrown up all over her couch, and had a coughing fit at the first traces of dust in his cutesy hutch. She'd been rushing around the house all day, working to make everything palatable to him in his time of need, but now she just felt ever-so-slightly annoyed, mood beginning to sour as the bunny continued to treat her with disdainful disrespect.
On the other hand, he did need her...and she couldn't leave any animal in need alone. Certainly not her favourite little pet in the world! Angel needed her, more than anyone else did. So she sat herself down by his bedside, peering into the little hutch through a conveniently placed glass window, and poked a spoon full of thick, syrupy medicine in his direction.
"Come on now, Angel bunny, don't you know mama just wants to make you feel better?" she crooned, smiling her widest, most disarming smile. Toothy and loving, that was what she'd been taught, the easiest way to win somepony - or, well, some-creature - over.
The response was little more than an emphatic retch.
"Angel, you have to listen to me if you want to get better!" Her voice taking on a slightly more strained tone, Fluttershy's eyes narrowed, wings slowly starting to beat a powerful rhythm behind her. She barely noticed herself rising off the ground - all she could think of was her little bunny's distress. |
