!tedl177Zx2 10/03/11(Mon)17:27 No.30241412>>30241300 I am quite glad to hear that! Ponies Discover /Co/ was fun as heck to write, and surprised me with it's reception. Lately, I've heard a little more criticism over it, but for the most part, it's loved. Sometimes, I wonder if it just being old limited it's exposure to fans, though, so I don't know who it has reached. After all, it just has about 150 ratings on EqD. . .
On the other hand, I don't think I've yet checked the document and seen no one reading it. Consistantly, since posting, it's had between 2 and 8. I still don't quite follow how it has only 150 stars. . .
Don't mind me talking a lot about the stories. I got Pinkie Pie speed talking when it comes to fiction, especially my own. Just want to talk about my thought process, what was received, etc, etc. Ha, ha! Had to reel back my own blah-blahing over it all the time. >For me it's a wide variety of reasons to stay on and enjoy these threads, but that's definitely a big part of it. Getting to hear and understand other people's interpretations of the characters I've come to know and love not only broadens my own, but gives me valuable insight into the way they think. It's as much a sociological thing as it is a fun, interesting thing, you know? Certainly! I think my drawing to fiction in general is that it's, at the heart, the study of people applied. Then, in discussing the applied-people topics, we then get to understand human nature even closer. |
