!!cJ4MGVqvOKw 10/03/11(Mon)07:44 No.30230981>>30230959 To a certain extent, I agree, but it's often the telltale element of a child's mindset when that's the case. In a lot of other situations, with a lot of other sorts of people, if you'll allow me to be a little bit anecdotal and informal, that's not the case - we simply see a vocal minority being loud about things and automatically extrapolate from there when that really isn't the case. I'm not going to deny that what you're saying doesn't have merit, because it does - there are a lot of people out there who are like that, and even I will admit that in the past, in my younger days, I was averse to criticism, believing myself above it. But often you'll see just as many people asking for and happily accepting criticism, and though it's something of a fallacy for me to cite it, there's definitely a large, albeit silent, group of people who take criticism as they receive it without commenting on it. It's just a case of perception, you know? Can't be too jaded about everything, haha! |
