09/24/11(Sat)21:44 No.29974208>>29973962 I have kind of a love-hate attitude about Dash in that episode, as well as overall. Normally I despise characters with no real reason to be a bully other than to be an asshole, and in many respects Dash is like one of those characters (unless you feel it's only a front in an attempt to disguise her lack of self-worth, but that hasn't been hinted toward much further than Sonic Rainboom, and still yet is a rather stock reason for such a character to be that way). Yet at the same time, I just can't bring myself to hate her, and in many respects I find her to be one of the most fun characters.
Maybe it's just the prior knowledge that she's one of the main characters and one of the heroes, which makes her jerkish attitude seem all the more affable. You know she has good intentions at heart and is willing to fight for the benefit of everyone, even when she doesn't always show it. |
