Twist suffers from what I refer to as 'ugly duckling' syndrome. Most ginger girls do.

Now we go over and look at Snails. Twist's fanon boyfriend. Usually, we think of him as a slow, dimwitted, borderline retarded permavirgin who will take his virginity to the grave. Now re-read the above. Snails isn't desperate, or slow. He knows that girls like Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara will be completely used up and their talentless pool of good looks will run dry by age 20, in human years. But around that time, Twist will be turning into sort of a proto-Felicia Day, as ginger girls often do, so long as they do not become landwhales.
Snails isn't desperate, nor is he stupid. He's made an investment that he *knows* will pay off, and big.
Face it, Twist is best poni and will be a massive heartbreaker when she gets older, and Snails was wise enough to get in on that before it's too late. |
