Most likely, being a helpful bunch, the pony would direct me to Twilight Sparkle since she's well known in Ponyville as the most powerful unicorn in town. At this point my suspension of disbelief is in the red, and I'm simply taking all new information at face value. I'd unfortunately have to take a walk through the town to get to her tree, and all the residents running away into their houses and locking their doors as was the case with Zecora at least, so I'd imagine their reaction to me would be even more pronounced. Perhaps a few would throw things at me. Making it to Twilight's tree, I might have to wait for her shock to wear of before explaining myself in the calmest manner possible, and asking her how I might get home. I doubt she would, she probably understands extradimensional theory, but nothing in the way of practical usage. In this case, she'd tell me to go to Canterlot to see Celestia.
Anyway, 100% of my focus would be to get home by any possible means. The idea of living there wouldn't even cross my mind until I had sufficiently given up hope, and even then, I wouldn't know how to live. It's still an alien world that has fundamentally different laws. How do I know magic isn't some weird form of radiation to humans, or if the matter is even carbon-based? How will it reconcile with my genetic makeup?
So anyone who thinks it would be cool to live in Equestria needs to consider how many variables need to be just right in order to survive. Scary thought to me. |
