You should try and have it so filly BonBon feels hurt and sad after her little venture to Lyra's party, Lyra is completely understanding and sympathetic to her friend's plight (and a bit sad too for hurting BonBon a bit).
Also, while the gift will be left vague, it should greatly reflect their relationship, have greater emotional value than some rocking guard horse and probably home-made. I know what the gift will be, but I'd like those who aren't familiar to be guessing.
