I can't wait for the continuation. I'll admit I had my doubts about S2 but they're gone now. That episode was fucking gold.

Okay, new episode wasn't what I was expecting at all, but it was still pretty good. It started off kinda cheesey and the scenes with Celestia seemed a bit forced, but Discord's trolling made up for it. I laughed plenty of times, and so far they've done a good job of making Discord an actual threat while keeping him funny and not some sort of super grimdark villain. So far, I'm optimistic about the rest of the season and am looking forward to the next episode.

Having a dead serious, panicked Celestia delving a bit deeper into her and her sister's backstory was the highlight for me, I've been waiting for Celestia to finally crack down a bit, and even though chances are its a bit she and Discord had all along or something like that, it was still awesome to see her pacing.

Also, I loved how Discord handled Fluttershy, that was just a beautiful "Oh fuck it!" moment. Best season ever. Best villain ever. Nightmare Moon is a joke in comparison, and that's only what we've seen Discord do in part 1.
