Use the lineart layers function. It's the button that looks like the "New Layer" button, but with a pen on it. You can draw and stuff, but it smooths out the lines just a little, but the real kicker is that you can actually use the tools to edit the lines afterwards along a series of points and curves. As I understand it, it's like using a vectoring program, sort of. Not only that, but you can also edit the pressure along each of those points, to simulate the thickness variation you'd get from a tablet. It takes much longer than drawing on a tablet, obviously, and doesn't look QUITE perfect, but it's the closest you can get drawing with a mouse. From looking at your Discord just drawing with MS paint and a mouse, if you figure out SAI, your stuff will beat the shit out of mine. Ask me if you have any other questions. |
