I just don't like the idea of Luna starting a war against her sister, is all. She's the Prodigal Child, who repents her crimes once she's realised the mistakes she's made, and Celestia is the matron, the mother figure that takes her in. The entire moral of the story was that Luna was silly and childish, a rebellious teenage divinity striking back against an older and wiser figure that she shouldn't have opposed. Making her angry and evil about it defeats the moral and ultimately undoes the entire purpose of her story, to me.

I'm too incoherent to dig it out of the archive, my proper, coherent explanation, but point is, the "magic of friendship" IS meant to be capable of solving anything. It's allegory, dude, and the thing about divinity is that it's supposed to be infallible. We know Luna and Celestia aren't perfect, so they aren't true divinity - in this case, they simply fill certain roles. The NLR, to me, weakens the entire basis of Luna as a character.

I think you either typoed or don't understand what it is I'm getting at here.

Two postulates to consider.
1. All of Equestrian society that we're aware of is wholly dependent on Celestia's god powers to raise the sun, essentially turning the key of the world-stone so that society may continue to function.
2. In a caste based system (which is by and large what cutie mark deviation and seperation comes down to) there is resentment of other stations in life - unless we're reducing this to the core aspect that 'lol it's a cartoon', SOMEONE will be unhappy with their cutie mark or lack thereof, and will feel discontent as a result.

The fact that the way all creatures are wholly subservient to Celestia (as displayed in overarching humility and fear) means that there is still more room for resentment to grow.

These things considered, you can't tell me for a second that if a secondary leadership rose up, promising a chance to take control of one's life or destiny and re-write it, or to fight back against the all-seeing eye that guides the fate of every citizen, that there wouldn't be SOME takers. This is also not accounting dragons, griffons, and whatever other mythical creatures we don't know about yet that would probably want some hand in the eventual fate of the entirety of Equestria.

If we're suspending our belief in the confines the show lays out for us, then there's all the reason in the WORLD to suspect that in some possible universe, events leading to a seperation of state are plausible. If you're going by LITERAL show canon, then of course, none of this is pheasible, nor is any fanfiction or anything else the fandom creates because IT'S A CUT AND DRY CARTOON FOR MANCHILDREN AND INFANTS

That being said;
Luna's redemption and role in the parable of friendship and society as an expansion of that doesn't rule out her impetuousness, nor the tendency of siblings to feud. That being said, we have no reason to believe that simply because Celestia is the older, thus far 'benevolent' sister that she's not susceptible to misgivings of her own. Heck, even going further from this, just as we have one crazy person on every street corner prophecizing the downfall of man, so too must Equestria have its mad political anarchist, striving for a seperation of the two halves of state-side divinity. It's even MORE believable that the machinations of the entire event could be orchestrated by a series of devious puppetmasters - I'll even give them a silver tongued cutie mark for bonus plausibility marks!

Shooting down the concept purely on the grounds that it's implausible is grounds to declare lack of imagination - moving past that, it's the IDEA of war in Equestria that is fascinating, regardless of the vessel that carries us there. If you want to get hung up on triflesome semantics that bar the passage to greater expanded universe and strife in a world where personality is bold enough to make conflict the most exciting thing witnessable, then fine, we'll throw the idea out, but for all these reasons and more, I think it's doable, and I think it's a damn good idea for a story besides.

I used to not grind and just try to get through the game. Usually I would get past half of the game then get to a boss that just kills me easily. No matter how many times I try I was always defeated then I got sick of it and started again.
