"I find it very lol-worthy that you consider it possible for me to be "wrong" about something that's entirely your opinion. There is no absolute right or wrong on this subject; it's about how open-minded you are to the idea of relationships between two intelligent members of different species. Currently, since no real-world example can exist of this on Earth, it's possible to hate on it (as you're doing) and not feel too much like a bigot (though you are). If instead you were hating on same-sex relationships or interracial relationships, as people did in the past, you'd be rightly marginalized and mocked by most for clinging to outdated, and entirely subjective "morals". If a time ever comes when humanity makes contact with an intelligent alien species, people expressing viewpoints like yours will be outed as the bigots they are.
I don't think the people who've expressed interest in these characters consider themselves "in-universe", though, nor do they want their desires expressed in canon on the show. The simple fact, as I've said elsewhere, is that these ponies were designed specifically to be aesthetically-pleasing to humans. They also have human personalities. The people who find themselves attracted to these (and any other) fictional characters, IMO, are those people who are normally drawn to others based primarily on personality and find physicality to be of secondary importance.
Ultimately, species is only of real importance in a relationship between two intelligent beings if you're actually looking to breed."
