As long as we're doing the OC thing, I'd appreciate it a lot if you could maybe fit me in there. I do post as anonymous most of the time but i've been here quite a good while and post frequently. This is pretty much the color scheme I'd go for, and the only real detail I'd ask for is for the pony to look tired/have dark circles under his eyes. As for the cutie mark, I've thought it would be funny for a pony to just have the word "fuck" emblazoned in all-caps across their flank, but in a really flowery, extravagant looking script. If someone thinks having text on a cutie mark is dumb or you don't want to do that, and someone else can come up with a better one for me, that would be perfectly fine.

Youl could do what everyone else did and have a whack at the pony creator, it's good for just getting a basic outline of colours and build - Fluffy can always add artistic interpretation later, though I think he said he's mostly just putting them in as is.

You're comparing to very unlike things; Dora is intended to be an educational show for children, whereas FiM is just a light-hearted animated sitcom. In all honestly, I personally don't see much difference between it and the cartoons I watched when I was in the target audience's age in the way it's produced and designed, apart from an all-female lead cast.

It varies from person to person, though. Some people can't seem to digest bright colors, or even the title, no matter how much goes into the production of the show itself. But, to each their own.
