As a brit who regularly receives questions on where the fuck his accent is from wherever he goes, even in his hometown, I did not give a single shit. I barely even noticed, I'm used to far worse in the way of accents.
The whole ending was a bit of a shock for me, I did not expect that twist with Bale's character at all but in retrospect it made complete sense. It really captured the essence of the arguments over the duality of the human spirit, you know? And the futility of existence, the inescapable nature of death. I was just enthralled the whole way through. Plus, magic, that shit's awesome.
