But I suppose if it's going to be YOU, of all people, I just want to say...
First and foremost, and most importantly, for the love of all things bright and beautiful, do NOT go full fanboy mode like someone from Ponychan would. If you go through with it, demonstrate your views and answer any questions in an astute, calm, and respectable manner.
Remain objective; the main fault in any interview with "bronies" is how they gush over the material like it's the second coming of Christ or the onset of this great new-age philosophy that will end the Flash Animation Ghetto and take over the world, and it isn't. Make the point known that, now matter how much the show is respectable on its own merits, you're modest about it.
If they give you any questions that start with "Why", don't be vague about it. If you can, try to anticipate what questions might come your way, so you don't look like an idiot stumbling over your words when trying to formulate a response. Of course, if it's not a face-to-face interview then this won't be an issue, but still. |
