Nonetheless, the point is the tumblr is an extension of the whole "internet anonymity" thing - imagine if you were Gilda, and you had an opportunity to present yourself to a group of people on the internet, you may attempt to win them over in ways you do not elsewhere.

Point is, extradiegetically we can see it's because the artist had a certain interpretation, presumably an incorrect one, and ran with it. Intradiegetically there could be a trillion reasons for it, all of which make evil sense. It's really just a case of ignoring it if you dislike it, enjoying it if you don't.

This is one thing I'm coming to heavily dislike much of the fandom's interpretation of "chaos". Why does the embodiment, the avatar, of chaos, necessarily need to be chaotic? Why can't it be composed? That in itself is at odds with the norm, that a chaotic person should behave chaotically, and therefore subverts the expectation, becoming chaotic in and of itself. Rachel is an immortal, nigh-all-powerful manipulator whose timelessness and vast wealth of knowledge and experience made her perfect for Observing the world of BlazBlue and ensuring that everything went according to plan. The ultimate plan, ultimately, of her own (that's a lot of ultimates). Hazama was just a crazy motherfucker. There's such a huge discrepancy in the strength of their characters it's unreal.

And, again, the character can be reinterpreted. Rachel could be evil to some - to Takamagahara, by opposing their order, she became "evil" from their perspective. Surely moralism, an inherently biased perspective in and of itself, is abstract rather than concrete and therefore viable for multiple perceptions and permutations?
