Hey guys, I finally decided to wean myself off of my medication. Set up my weekly medicine container to contain half doses of my normal stuff.
I mean, I'm taking three psychiatric meds, I call bullshit on that many being necessary
Also I was constantly being tempted to watch TV whenever I was in my room, for no reason other than to have accompanying background noise. But I decided that there was nothing on TV that I couldn't access on my computer, minus obnoxious advertisements.
So I cut the cord.
Literally, I severed the power cord of my TV so I would not be tempted to plug it back in

I watched MLP for the first time yesterday.

The show is extremely predictable, only occasionally funny and can be downright annoying at times.

Most of the time I'm able to predict exactly what's going to happen in the episode from just the introduction...and I still watch the rest of the episode anyway, and still feel fairly entertained while doing so.

There's definitely appeal but I can't quite but my finger on it. Perhaps it's the moments were the show is legitimately funny? (The time where Spike says "an outhouse?" was really funny imo) Perhaps the innocence of the show gives it nostalgic value? or perhaps I've allowed the hype to effect me psychologically....
