But it's not because I don't see what everybody else loves about it, I love it too. I always drop it due to HATE of Spies. The constant threat of an invisible instant death anywhere at any time kills my fun, and the only solution is perpetual spy checking, which also kills my fun. Regarding your solutions, the only one that really consistently works for me is #1, lucking into a situation with little to no spies. Really, if you graphed my enjoyment of TF2, it would be a perfect inverse of amount of spies on enemy team. Nothing makes me even the slightest bit mad in that game except cloaked spies. All I want is to be able to know that if I don't see it, it's not there. Fun or invisible enemies, I can only have one. So for what it's worth, I don't mind them disguising and getting me.

Try The Lion's Den. I regularly played there for a few months and it was always great, filled with skilled players. Be prepared to get raped by some (if not all) of the regulars there, though, if you're under a certain skill level. But hey, you can only get better by playing people more skilled than you.

I think she'd get along better with someone that matches her ambition and awesomeness in a field with no overlaps with her speed and aerial acrobatics. She's always butting heads with Applejack because of her physical fitness, and that Applejack doesn't take their competitions seriously (it's just a requirement for her farmwork instead of an end in itself for her) just makes it worse.

With Twilight, though - Twilight's awesomeness and ambition is in a field completely removed from Dash's. They'd never have to worry about being in competition or overshadowing each other because there's zero overlap between magic and aerial stuntsponyship.
