08/30/11(Tue)09:28 No.29203460So I was rewatching the first episode yesterday, and given that I've recently been rewatching doctor who, both were fresh in my mind. A few times in doctor who s6, we get a bit of a peek into the doctor's thought patterns, complete with a camera wizzing around to his point of focus, showing a fairly clear and obvious path to noticing a minor detail that ends up being really important.
And then Pinkie appears, screams and jumps off. It's easy to write off as "pinkie pie being pinkie pie", but she had a very good reason to do it. A very good reason which she noticed, thought through, and realised the time constraints, almost immediately. Maybe Pinkie isn't so crazy, she just thinks as fast as she moves, and is incredibly perceptive. It'd also explain her pinkie sense - subconsciously noticing tiny things and making sense of them without really thinking about it. |
