I dunno about that one, magic seems to affect ponies differently. Even Twilight, overpowered as she is, could only get people cloudwalking for three days, wheras inanimate objects, which presumably need enchantment too, don't seem to have that restriction (because if they did, they wouldn't be there, it'd be too much work).

Being able to fuck with something that has no natural magical affinity of its own doesn't neccesarily mean you can fuck with something that does - or at least, not as easily.

Twilight had no issue moving a shit-tonne of books without line of sight, so I assume telekinesis also grants some sort of "sight" (for want of a better word). As for precision - rarity is a fashion designer. She can, and does, quite literally thread a needle with it.

I assume doing it on other ponies, rather than inanimate objects, is indeed harder, but Twilight still managed to do it to Fluttershy, though she's Twilight and thus not really a good benchmark.

I liked the lightning and jerky frame-by-frame sections, they felt awesome and a good display of Twilight's power, but I agree. It needed more focus. Either Twilight showing off her true power or focusing more on her cute/friendly moments. Play and Race were all about the great defining elements of the characters, while Learn felt more like it tried to be two things at once and lost focus.

Ah, alright, I see where you're all coming from, and yeah, I can appreciate what you're saying. I wasn't fond of the musical choice or a lot of the stylistic choices either (I remember being very disappointed over the fact that they didn't include many of the innumerable Twilight flipping the fuck out scenes, even the most well-known Rapidash one), and I definitely agree that there should have been more of a focus on her as a bookish, studious, awkwardly inexperienced type, rather than some sort of badass adventurer, much as I like adventurer Twilight.
Still, I honestly think it's better than Love like Fluttershy, even with all those mistakes. Love tries to remain loyal to Fluttershy, but I really don't like that one at all.
