Given it's length though, I'd prefer not to have to read several chapters in just to find out whether it interests me or not, so I have a question. Anyone here both a long time fan of Fallout and an up to date reader of the fic?

If so, does it actually follow the tone of the series or is it mostly just 'Fallout 3 but with Ponies"? One of my biggest concerns is just how much people seem to go on about backstories and I get the feeling from such posts that the fic goes through the effort of explaining how things happened pretty clearly. Is this the case or am I misinterpreting?

But, and this is a big deal, it might not be beyond hope. And it'll take an outsider to remind them of the way.

I just recommend checking out... 5 chapters. The early ones aren't terribly long. If you find yourself getting attached to Littlepip and the others, then you'll prolly want more. God knows it goes WAY THE FUCK out of my comfort zone.
