True. Capitalism doesn't have to be overbearing or even the primary ideological method, though. You could also consider the lack of major corporations evidence of an individual-centric mindset, without conglomeration and globalisation to interfere with the workings of general capitalism. Point is, it's up to personal interpretation, you know? I imagine there being MNCs all over the place, just not in Ponyville, and the general style being something of a hybridisation of socialism and capitalism. So personal achievement, individuality and all that being a focal point, while also as a member and supporter of the community at large. |
