I wouldn't put it past reasoning that most of those compositions are simply Pinkie ditties.

Only a handful of the songs from season one were actually full-length production numbers, and unless the supposed soundtrack arrives sooner than we expect I doubt we'll have access to full versions of the theme song. Not that that's a bad thing, since I'm not expecting it to become a heavily musical show.

In short, Pinkie will be herself, but we might also expect several group songs and even some solos.

Maybe I'm just biased because I have a preference for the "hard rock"/glam rock sound, but I also like Rainbow Dash's voice because it's simple, yet works best with heavy instrumentation. It also helps that her motif is usually electric guitars and fanfare.

Technically, Rarity and perhaps Twilight have the best range, but work best primarily for more theatrical numbers. It'd be nice just to hear Dash going out loud and strong.
