Eh. One of them's an OC pony story - nobody likes those (I personally think the knee-jerk reaction against OC ponies is pretty silly, but then again, I've got an OC pony story).

The Spike story seems to be doing okay, but there were a lot of complaints that it was out of character, and I will have to concede. It's that classic trap - you have an idea and you want the character to get there... but you can't execute it in a believable way because you're a mediocre writer.

That's the OC pony thing. It was my first attempt at writing female characters, and from the feedback I got (the helpful feedback, at least), the characters, at least in the earlier chapters, are somewhat one-dimensional.

The thing's also a sort of slice-of-life thing, so it suffers from a general lack of plot.

Trips on Ponychan work sort of differently than trips on 4chan. I always post Anonymously here, because let's be honest, the general attitude is that people who use tripcodes are obnoxious attention whores. Sorry tripfags, but you know it's the truth. On Ponychan, though, there are a lot less people and a lot more very personal interaction. I've ended up corresponding with several bronies from the site. Because of that, people will usually take names or trips simply so that we can identify and get to know one another. There are certainly attention whore tripfags there as well, but there are only a handful.
