08/10/11(Wed)22:01 No.28594882>>28594674 As I like to consider it, it's sort of like this: They're still friends, still the closest of pals, but they've moved on with their lives. Whether they became more than friends depending on your interpretation (Twilight and Pinkie shacking up) or simply found love and grew up, who knows, but regardless of where they are in the world, they regularly see each other and think of each other. Twilight would probably be either the new Princess, Headmistress of the Canterlot School For Gifted Unicorns, or a traveller, wandering the world with Spike, learning more about indigenous cultures, history and magic. Pinkie Pie would have taken over Sugarcube Corner, run it into the ground, and then pulled it back up to become a massive success, and with her funds, she'd help Rarity and Applejack expand their business operations into Canterlot. They'd violate antitrust laws to form conglomerates, megacorporations, cartels and the like, and Pinkie Pie would eventually end up with an iron grip of happiness on the Equestrian economy. Applejack, obviously, is pretty much tied up with Pinkie, but she's devoted to her farm and her family. Rarity is the same, but her devotions are her fashions and her sister. They mingle together - Applejack helps Rarity win support from the working classes, Rarity helps Applejack with the aristocracy. Fluttershy would probably end up living just outside the Everfree Forest, stagnant, forever, but always happy. She'd be the one whose home everyone meets at for reunions. Rainbow Dash, obviously, ends up as part of the Wonderbolts, grows up a little, and takes a position in the Royal Guard (if Twilight is a princess, she's her personal bodyguard). As they grow old, they remain cute, but become distinguished, having families. When they start to kick the bucket, Rarity goes first (a life of stress) followed by Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Fluttershy, and finally Pinkie Pie, who has been hardened by time. |
