The story starts literally with the first thing Twilight remembers, waking up in the bookstore. A bit of G1 namedrops, (Sprinkles is the one who didn't fix the ladder she apparently fell off of, shit like that) the manager checking her out, calling for a doctor, and Twilight is in too much of a daze to ask who she is. But then notices that she's wearing the bookstores uniform, then sees her cutie mark's a book and a ribbon, instead of the six star thingy.
The scene then shifts to a doctor's office, checking for head trauma. The dialogue switches to a short discussion of 'Elixing', a practice where unicorns will chug a bunch of potions at once for 'magic trips' which has amnesia and false memories as a side-effect, and she basically gets insulted and tries to say Celestia taught her better, and hears that she hasn't left her castle to talk to anyone in years.
Then... I get sort of stuck, I was thinking of having her break out if they were going to keep her there for questioning, (it's not really legal) but ponies on drugs is a can of worms I'm not sure I want to open, even if it is banter. |
