08/07/11(Sun)07:49 No.28473701Fluttershy will not go outside. It started when one clear day she was walking through the woods, looking for any animal to tend to. The forest was much quieter than usual and the normal background noise was off for the bustling springtime forest. Walking along her normal path she looked into the sky and saw the eye looking down at her. It was enormous and red, ringed in black, and turned wetly in the unseen socket, directly upon her. No form or body surrounding the eye, just the eye whose round abyss of a pupil shrank while now bringing Fluttershy into focus. She looked at the eye and felt something tingle at the base of her spine. Her body never stiffened thankfully. Taking a step back, and another, until she scrambled over her own hooves screaming silently as she bolted home. The fear of this horror making her turn back to see the eye as large as when she first looked up, hovering over her still. She realized in a moment that it wasn't that the eye followed, it was the eye's own enormity that made it inescapable. She slammed into her own front door, the frame shook as she cried, trying to open the simple slide. Finally she entered the cottage and shut herself in. Moving away from the entrance, the last place it knew she had been. She fell into her bedroom. Still unable to scream out loud from the shock. She slammed windows and pulled drapes, looking through the sides to see the eye still there. Always above.
Patient and unblinking. |
