My theory about Pokemon, The Lion King, and any other cartoon show that has these similar circumstances is that the creatures just simple come into being. One minute they don't exist, the next they do.

I still have to say Dragonshy. A rather typical journey episode with a predictable resolution, but I still can't get over the preparation montage or "how" the issue is resolved.

Fluttershy scolding the dragon is still perhaps one of my favorite scenes from the show because it's just so satisfying I can watch it repeatedly and not grow tired of it.

My own thinking is that horn size correlates to magical power. The bigger your horn, the more magic you can channel. Celestia, as a goddess, naturally has a bigger horn.

I think if they were able to introduce greater variety among the main six's character designs, Twilight would have a bigger horn than Rarity.

Rarity's mother should appear on "The Real Housemares of Canterlot".

the episode where we finally meet her, she comes down from Canterlot to visit her daughter. there's a film crew (though i guess since they're ponies, it's more like a earth pony director, a broadcast unicorn cameraman, and a pegasus holding the boom mic, huh?) following her around the entire time.

Rarity's mother subtly puts down her friends, and Rarity starts acting more like her. Rarity and her mother end up competing for the spotlight, and Rarity ends up alienating the Mane Cast, most likely by blowing off Applejack.

i don't have a decent ending, and there's no way i can phrase that plot that doesn't sound cliché (believe me, i tried), sorry.

Then Rarities mother rapes Rarity at gunpoint and makes Sweetie watch. Afterwards she kills Rarity and forces Sweetie to consume Rarities body to destroy the evidence. She then proceeds to usurp Rarity but no one minds because she's less useless then Rarity. Except for Sweetie who gets raped every night and threatened with death if she ever reveals how Rarity died or her nightly rape.

The point is that human parts don't look like that nasty stuff. So why do you think nonsapient horses' equipment would resemble those of ram-sized ponies of vastly thinner and more flexible bodies?

Their hooves (usually), their noses, and the insides of their ears are the same color as their coat. That means any skin anywhere on their bodies is likely to be the same color as their coats. The asterisk under their tails? Probably camouflaged by skin color.

Even if their skin color is always one shade and not matching their coat, their ears are still coat-matching, which would mean hair pretty much everywhere. Humans are well known for their short-and-curlies. Female ponies might have enough hair down there to obscure details.

It also means that the male ponies' babymakers are probably as discreet as humans' - 1-3" when not engaged in activity, with certain exceptions.

I'm working on my Nightmare Rarity story. IF I get that done by the deadline, I MIGHT write something.
