She has two different playstyles.

One where she is fast as fuck and her attack speed is great for surprise attacks, but they all deal crappy damage and her Pinkamena version having slow attacks, but they deal medium damage and knockback.

If you mix both of them together, you have an interesting character.

alright. Here's my piece on each character. Because I think bout shit too much.

Twilight.

Twilight is a ranged character. Easily interrupted, low health and long recovery, but if you can time shit right you can keep the other player at a distance with your ranged attacks, which would be either high damage with a long cooldown, or much faster but didnt knock the other player back or do nearly as much damage. Obvious counters would be faster ponies.

Rage mode: Shit's on fire yo. You ignite, and if the other player tries to attack you, they get set on fire with a small status effect that does small damage over a few seconds. However you cant move, and you only have one attack. Plus you are still vulnerable to any ranged attacks. Essentially a few seconds of invulnerability, that if timed right can fuck the opponent over with fire damage.

So, what if in the fighting game Rainbow Dash and Spitfire were similar characters with a few key differences? Like, Rainbow Dash attacks mainly by dashing/clubbing while Spitfire attacks mainly by kicking/flipping?

Fluttershy is a coward. No dodging this, but what are cowards good at? cowering. She should have a high-ish defense, due to the fact her attacks will be weak as shit. But she should also be nimble, she has wings, after all. easily interrupted, but cooldowns are short.

Rage mode: You will love her. She changes entirely. you can no longer use your wings, you arent as nimble as before and your defense lowers, but if you get the other kid, just watch them sparks fly.

1.jab. A Bird suddenly comes out of FS' mane and pecks the other fucker. This isnt ranged, though.
2.Fluttershy flies up a bit and drops a fucking beehive on you. small status effect. This only effects an area just in front of where FS was before she flew up.
3.Ranged. You send angel out to kick that other pony in the pussy. easily avoided, but angel runs the whole screen, running back if he meets no target. The further from FS angel is when he attacks, the higher the damage.

Rage attack. The fucking stare. You stare the other guy down, forcing them to punch themselves in the head a couple times

Rarity is a lady and ladies dont take punches. She is weak, not as weak as FS but weak. Her attack is mid range powerful and her defense is a bit low. But she is nimble as shit. quite quick, and counters are stronger than regular attacks. i.e. your whole game is based of reacting to the others moves.

2.throws out her fucking cat to scratch you.
3.throws a bunch of needles. farther you are, the more damage you recieve
