I know you didn't ask, but I feel like I should share my opinions on Feeling Pinkie Keen, and that specifically. You're probably right in that it was a Roadrunner reference played for laughs, and I love that episode so much even with the controversy, I just look past it.

My least favorite scene with my favorite was when Rarity sang "Art of the Dress", along with the refrain. The song did nothing for the episode. The ponies are already so open with their emotions that the singing just felt like overkill. In fact the singing always feels like overkill. Pinkie's little jingles like "Hop, Skip and Jump" work well for the show, though. You can believe that she's excited enough to just burst out into song.

I like Rarity because of the way her VA delivers her lines, along with other odd things they throw in the show. For example, in "Griffon the Brush Off", Pinkie mentions playing "pin the tail", and Rarity comes right out saying "Oh, my favorite game"! I didn't think she'd be into playing party games.

Nothing quite the way I want it, though at least I was able to draw more faces in non-profile, which was giving me a hard time last night and this morning. Is it that they play a role in maintaining the natural order? If that's the case, EVERY pony is a god, Celestia most of all.

Yeah, legs...hers aren't the best example of how I wanna do them. The pegasus probably is closer to real horse legs, but kind of too close for my liking. I really don't wanna go full pony, you know? But finding a nice midpoint that isn't identical to someone else's style is not easy. I did another doodle I didn't post that turned out way too much like one of Cartoonlion's ponies (and nothing against CL, I love that style; I just don't want to copy it or anyone else's).
