Alright, now I know, thank you for both enlightening me, and making me concerned about /co/'s mental health Anon.
Now I'm interested in knowing what made /co/ decide that Rainbow Dash was a lesbian. I mean, I know it's a joke and/or mere speculation, and if she actually was a lesbian, her butch attitude and the fact that her hair's a bloody rainbow, not unlike the flag of the gay pride movement, would have her friends merely thanking her for stating the obvious when she decides to come out of the closet. But just for the sake of debate, did it ever dawn to any /co/mrade that she's simply heterosexual and just the way she is because she was raised in a predominantly male family, or that she adored her brother to the extent that she tried to be like him, just like Scootaloo wants to be like her? Maybe she developed this butch attitude because of her disdain of showing any form of weakness, and believes that femininity, in her eyes, equals weakness. Or how about this: Rainbow Dash's older brother, the apple of her parents' eyes, passed away when she was little. Dash, who was affected the most by his sudden departure, decided to take his place, mimicking his personality in an attempt cheer her parents up and/or to come to terms with his death.
But like I said before, I know it's just a joke, and I have to admit that I find it odd and embarrassing that I decided make up these odd speculations as to why Rainbow Dash is the way she is. For Christ sake, I've only seen about six or seven episodes and I'm already starting to analyze every character I see.
Oh, and fuck you /co/ for providing me with the mental image of a candy spooging little pony. |
